This page explains how to request deletion of your Adinary account and any personal data associated with it. Adinary is the developer of the Adinary AI dictionary and vocabulary learning app.

How to request deletion

Send an email to [email protected] from the email address registered to your Adinary account, with the subject line "Delete account request".

Please include in the message:

• The full name on your account
• The email address registered to your account (if different from the sender)
• Confirmation that you want your account and personal data permanently deleted

We may contact you to verify your identity before processing the request.

What gets deleted

When your deletion request is processed, we permanently remove:

• Your account profile (name and email address)
• Your saved vocabulary words and word lists
• Your practice history and progress statistics
• Your in-app preferences and settings tied to the account

Data stored only on your device (in browser local storage or in the installed app's local cache) is removed when you sign out, clear your browser data, or uninstall the app.

What may be retained

A small amount of information may be retained after deletion, including:

• Records required to comply with legal, tax, or regulatory obligations
• Anonymous, aggregated usage data that can no longer be linked back to you
• Records needed to detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents

Retained records are kept only as long as necessary for the purpose above and are protected by the safeguards described in our Privacy Policy.

How long it takes

We aim to acknowledge your request within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days of verifying your identity. We will email you to confirm once deletion is complete.
